ERIKA
SAYLOR
From a very young age, Erika has held a passion for makeup and hair. A true artist, she holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting & Ceramics from the University of Northern Colorado. Erika attended Colorado Northwestern for cosmetology school. In addition to her formal schooling, Erika has garnered certifications in Brazilian Blowout, and Air Brush and Wedding makeup. Erika frequently attends cosmetology courses to further her knowledge and stay current on trends, techniques, and products.
As the owner and creative director of Monet's Salon, Erika looks forward to rejuvenating your hair and style while getting to know you. She is passionate about listening to your requests, concerns, and fears, and uses that feedback to create your desired look.
While she's not in the salon, she is an avid skier with a passion for travel, painting, and all things beauty.
SHANNON
MCDONALD
Shannon has been passionate about all things beauty since she was just ten years old. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved all over the west coast to pursue her dreams in doing hair and make-up for motion picture,
film, and TV.
Shannon has been a licensed cosmetologist for 11 years and currently holds licenses in Colorado, California, and Pennsylvania. Shannon graduated from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute of Philadelphia with a full cosmetologist license at the top
of her class.
Shannon moved to California to pursue her dreams as a celebrity hairstylist and make-up artist. She graduated from Make-up Designory of California with a Master’s Degree in beauty make-up and special effects creation/make-up. From there, she worked on various movie sets, music videos, photoshoots, and red carpet events. Shannon’s work has been published in many places, one being the cover of the “Makeup Artist“ magazine for her work at the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show (IMATS) in LA in 2012.
Shannon has two young boys that inspired her to move to Colorado. Aside from doing hair and make-up, her favorite things are spending time outdoors and enjoying time with her friends and family.
CHLOE
SHERARD
Chloe is a Colorado native raised in Boulder, Colorado. She has spent nearly half a decade in the beauty industry. Chloe loves the creativity hairstyling allows and delights in helping her clients look and feel their best.
Chloe received her credential after attending the prestigious Aveda Denver Institute in early 2017.
Although she loved Boulder, and it was a wonderful place to grow up, she was in search of a smaller mountain community. Steamboat was the perfect match. She has been a part of Steamboat for a number of years and has loved every minute. Steamboat has proven a great town with an amazing salon to express herself.
SHEENON
OLSON
Sheenon is a creative force of nature. Having worked with many different mediums over the years, his talent and success at each has resulted in partnerships with many of the leading names in their respective fields. From hair to furniture building to scuplture to photography, the common denominator is Sheenons passion for aesthetics. Sheenon's unique outlook, culled from years of living and working in San Francsico, Miami, New York, Mysore, Mumbai and most recently Venice CA, has helped him become a master of his craft.
Sheenon's extensive celebrity client list includes singers Shakira, Ellie Goulding and Joe Jonas, models Alessandra Ambrosio and Elle Macpherson and photographer Mario Testino to name a few. Before founding Atma Sheenon worked in some of the best salons in the US, such as Oribe (Miami) and Nine Zero One (LA). Sheenon was also the US leading educator for Hair Talk Extensions. As an editorial hair stylist, he has worked with brands such as Armani and Victoria Secrets in Paris and Milan fashion shows.
HUNTER
GANSMANN
Hunter is a Colorado native raised in the beautiful valley of Steamboat Springs. She has worked as a professional in the beauty industry for five years; however, her love for beauty started at a very young age. She loves that her career and her passion are the same!
Hunter graduated as a Cosmetologist from Colorado Northwestern. She started her career working in all areas of her industry: hair, nails, makeup, skincare, and lashes. Eventually, Hunter decided to focus her attention on Aesthetics & Lash Artistry. To hone this skill, Hunter began working with Milk + Honey Spa & Salon — one of Austin, TX's top spas. To go even deeper, she moved into the Medical Aesthetics field, where she received additional training from FacetoFace Spa, also located in Austin, TX.
A mountain girl at heart, Hunter chose to head the call and move to Saratoga, WY, to work with the prestigious Relais Chateau, where she learned how to deliver world-class spa service. Once there, she met the love of her life and the father of her son! This lead Hunter and her family back to Steamboat Springs, CO, to create a home and her own business as an Esthetician and Lash Artist.
Hunter seeks to create an inclusive space for locals and visitors. She strives to create a comfortable "at home" feeling that leaves customers feeling AMAZING with their self-love experience!
